Caroline's story has to be told.

She has come a long way and turned goals and hopes into tangible reality. Tangible because she has managed to salvage African Poetry and brought it to its deserved glory.
Caroline's mission was to institutionalize poetry and bring it to something that never was!

FORMER ASSIGNMENTS- National

July 2001- present: Founder/ Co-coordinator, CHILDSPEAK
Task: Design and administer courses on self-expression to schools and colleges for students and teachers alike with emphasis on creative writing. Consult on school extra-curricular projects.

Feb 2001: Adjudicator, EMBU DISTRICT DRAMA FESTIVALS
Reporting To: Ms. Elizabeth Mwoko- Education Officer
Task: Grade the presentations of dance, drama, oral narratives and poetry. Give advice on costume and decor, choice of script/theme, and the dynamics of stage presentation.

January- July 2001: Creative Writing Teacher, PREMIER ACADEMY
Reporting to: Mr. O. Fernandes
Task: Engaging children in activities that nurture creative thinking and improve communication skills.

Task: Present various performing/creative arts applicable to the programme and how they can be used in peer education.
